The deep, woody P-bass Darryl plays on “Miss You.”
Named for West Chatham, the South Side neighborhood where Darryl grew up.
The Chatham is a P-type bass with a single pickup set between the end of the neck and the bridge. That placement is the whole point. It gives a round, woody low end that stays clear, then barks when you play harder.
This is the bass Darryl reaches for when the Rolling Stones play “Miss You.” It carries the song without crowding it.
Every Chatham starts as a Professional and can be built up. Prices are starting points; your final quote depends on the options you choose.
